Newly-formed community theater group performs Macbeth

Friday, Oct. 30 at 7:30 p.m.—RANDOLH— Community theater is a magical thing. Not just a reason for members of the community to come together to create and playfully innovate, but also a way that as audience members, we are linked more intimately with one another. Those who act together in theatrical shows often remain in touch after the production ends, and when people we know are on stage, even when they are being a character, we often feel we know them a little more deeply, as if somehow they have revealed a richer part of themselves by being someone else.

Chandler Center for the Arts is just beginning its newest community theater effort with the newly established Just the Players group.

On Oct. 30 at 7:30 p.m. Macbeth will be the first production under this newly formed Just the Players community theater troupe.

Admissions is $15. Buy a ticket, or buy the live-stream, and dress in costume for the after-show costume contest (even if you are viewing online.) Also consider getting involved in the next performance.  They need actors, and technicians and stagehands. Email outreach@chandler-arts.org if you are interested in getting involved.

The Chandler Center for the Arts is located at 71 Main St. in Randolph.
