New Warren Miller film heats up Snowshed Base Lodge

Love him or hate him, Bode Miller is one of the world’s top ski racers. See him in Warren Miller’s “STREIF: One Hell of a Ride.”

Saturday, Feb. 6 at 7 p.m. — KILLINGTON —Warren Miller Entertainment, in partnership with Red Bull Media House, announced the North American release and upcoming movie tour for “STREIF: One Hell of a Ride,” the award-winning documentary produced by Planet Watch.

Narrated by U.S. Ski Team legend Daron Rahlves, the momentous story of the 75th Hahnenkamm race in Kitzbühel, Austria follows five of the world’s top ski racers—Aksel Lund Svindal, Hannes Reichelt, Erik Guay, Max Franz and Bode Miller—as they prepare and compete in this flagship World Cup race. “STREIF” is being screened locally at Killington Resort’s Snowshed Lodge, hosted by Killington Ski Club.

Winner of the 2015 ROMY award for Best Documentary, “STREIF: One Hell of a Ride has sold-out countless shows in Europe, and we cannot wait to bring this incredible film to the American ski audience,” said Andy Hawk, managing director for Warren Miller Entertainment.

An iconic brand in the snowsports filmmaking arena, Warren Miller Entertainment has been producing snowsports films for 66 years, and continues to reach a passionate audience worldwide.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for age 12 and under. They are available at the door, and through Killington Ski Club, at Forerunner Ski Shop, Peak Performance, and First Stop Ski Shop. Beer and wine will be available.
