Molsky’s Mountain Drifters perform at Chandler

Saturday, Nov. 12 at 7:30 p.m.—RANDOLPH— Chandler welcomes to the main stage Molsky’s Mountain Drifters on Nov. 12 at 7:30 p.m. This powerhouse trio includes Grammy-nominated artist on fiddle, banjo, guitar and song—Bruce Molsky—plus Alison De Groot and Stash Wyslouch, two young musicians who bring vibrancy and energy to an old tradition of string band music.
The trio will give an old-time music workshop at 2 p.m., before the concert on Saturday. All instruments are welcome. Workshop participants will learn a couple of tunes and work on old time style and ensemble playing, and enjoy the experience of playing together. The workshop is open for anyone who can learn short phrases of melody or simple chords by ear. Not recommended for brand new beginners. The workshop cost is $25. Call or email Emily Crosby to register: emily@chandler-arts.org or 802-728-6464.
Tickets are available by calling the Chandler box office between the hours of 12-5 p.m., Monday-Friday, at 802-728-6464 or at chandler-arts.org.
Chandler Music Hall is fully accessible and equipped for the hearing impaired. It is located at 71-73 Main St., Randolph.
