Low-cost rabies clinic this weekend in Woodstock

The  VT Volunteer Services for Animals Humane Society (VVSA) Drive Up & Poke! rabies clinic is scheduled for Saturday, March 20, from 12-2 p.m. in the parking lot of the Woodstock Union High School. Dogs in Vermont are required by law to have a rabies vaccination by 6 months of age and be licensed. Dr. Philippa Richards of Kedron Valley Vet Clinic in Woodstock, is offering her time for this public service.

A single line of cars will be formed. People and animals stay in the car, cats in carriers and dogs on a leash. Masks are required at all times.  Questions?  Call VVSA HS: 802- 672-5302

The VT Spay Neuter Incentive Program (VSNIP) applications will be available (or send a SASE to V-SNIP, PO Box 104, Bridgewater, VT 05034) to apply to help neuter your cat/dog. Funded only by a $4 fee when licensing dogs, V-SNIP is under the Vermont Economic Services. If eligible, the cost to you is $27.
