Local Aaron Audet plays Fair Haven park concert

Thursday, July 28 at 7 p.m.—FAIR HAVEN—The Fair Haven Concerts in the Park is happy to welcome back Aaron Audet to the stage on Thursday, July 28, with his band of local musicians: Jeff Poremski on lead guitar; Chris Johnson on the electric bass; and Ross Edmunds on the drums. Audet plays guitar and sings and lives right in Fair Haven. He graduated from Fair Haven Union High School in 1992 and teaches music.

One can find the band playing locally throughout the summer in the Lakes region and throughout Central Vermont.  They play a wide variety of cover songs—mostly new popular songs—with a few good classic rock tunes thrown in. Audet said that they are very upbeat and play fun music to listen to, so join the crowd for the 7 p.m. show. Come early and enjoy the park.

This is be the seventh concert in the series. Each week door prizes are drawn during intermission—prizes have been generously donated by local businesses, organizations and concert sponsors. The concert series has been wildly successful, some weeks seeing 500 to 700 people in the park!

Concerts go on rain or shine. The rain location is the Baptist Church located at the south end of the park. Food items including hot dogs, popcorn and sodas are available for purchase. A 50/50 raffle is also held weekly, to benefit three entities: a scholarship for a Fair Haven UHS graduate pursuing music; the Dodge House in Rutland; and the cost of the concerts.
