Legendary multicultural blues and funk band to perform Cooler in the Mountain series

Saturday, Aug. 6 at 3:30 p.m.—KILLINGTON—Robert Randolph & the Family Band will be stopping in at Killington Resort’s Snowshed Adventure Center on Saturday, Aug. 6 to perform the fourth show in the free eight-week Cooler in the Mountains concert series.

Robert Randolph took the scene by storm in the early 2000’s when he began playing his first club dates in New York City. Today, Randolph is recognized as one of the greatest pedal steel guitarists of all time. Backed by his band of talented musicians, Robert Randolph & The Family Band deliver a high-energy, multicultural sound inspired 1970’s funk bands such as Earth, Wind & Fire and Sly & The Family Stone.

Cooler in the Mountains concerts are free, family-friendly events scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoons until Sept 3. Snowshed Adventure Center is located on Killington Road, Killington. For info, visit killington.com.
