KPAA names new director

On Monday, Sept. 21, Killington/Pico Area Association president Hannah Abrams announced in an email the selection of its new executive director, Matthew Halik.

Matthew hails from Woodstock and is an outdoor enthusiast who is well versed in sales, marketing and customer service.

“Our mantra with this search was to ‘select, not settle’ and this is why we feel so good about this choice,” Abrams wrote.

Halik will be in virtual attendance at the KPAA’s virtual annual meeting on Thursday, Sept. 23 and his official start date is Monday, Sept. 28.

“Thank you for your patience and trust as we went through this process” Abrams continued. “We are confident in Matthew’s ability to grow our very special and very dedicated organization and our ‘One Killington’ spirit.”
