As a state, Vermont has a successful track record of food-based events, seen in the proliferation of “Farm to Table” events, the launch of the Vermont Fresh network, and the Seven Days Restaurant week, produced in Burlington. The Town helps to bring this enthusiasm to central Vermont in the second week of the popular Killington Hay Festival, running Columbus Day through Labor Day.

The Killington Hay Festival is produced by the Town of Killington and includes more than 20 giant hay sculptures, on display from Labor Day to Columbus Day.
