Killington Mountain Guides offers wilderness first aid training, certification

Open to anyone who wants to feel more independent, empowered and capable during outdoor pursuits

Saturday and Sunday, May 21-22—PITTSFIELD—Wilderness first aid certification can be achieved this weekend in a two-day course (16 hours). The course is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts who engage in shorter and less remote trips, including hikers, climbers, paddlers, bikers, skiers, camp counselors, scouts — anyone who wants to feel more independent, empowered and capable during outdoor pursuits. The course meets American Camping Association guidelines.

The course will be held in a very private mountain setting in Pittsfield. Students will be required to be prepared for all weather conditions as the majority of the course will be outside. A short hike to the course area is required. As such, we recommend that you bring lunch and plenty of water.

Course fee of $235 includes instruction, training materials, and WFA certification fee.
