KILLINGTON — On Dec. 4 and 5, the community turned out to enjoy the 11th annual Vermont Holiday Festival at the Killington Grand Resort Hotel. The goal was to promote community harmony, celebrate the holidays, collect non-perishable food items for the Vermont Foodbank and raise money for local charities. The event was, once again, a great success in all of these areas. About 1,500 attendees were reported, and a 13.34 percent increase in number of trees sponsored this year, to a grand total of 85.

This year’s popular vote winners of the Festival of Trees were:

1st place: Killington Parks & Recreation.

2nd place: Boss Office Works.

3rd place: Five Elements Day Spa.
