Halloween at VINS

Saturday, Oct. 30, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. — QUECHEE — Join VINS for the day to celebrate Halloween. Our programs have a “Halloweeny” theme and includes Scales and Serpents and Owls in Myth and Legend.

Schedule

  • Animal artifacts 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Discover how much you can learn from pelts, bones and other fun things in this ongoing hands-on activity.
  • Predators of the Sky 11 – 11:45 a.m. Watch our ambassador raptors fly through the air, and learn about their amazing adaptations.
  • Owls: Myths and Misconceptions 1 – 1:30 p.m. Are owls really as wise as they seem? Find out in this program featuring several species of live owls.
  • Scales and Serpents 2 – 2:20 p.m. Just in time for Halloween, come meet our resident reptiles in this engaging program featuring live snakes and turtles.
  • Predators of the Sky 3 – 3:45 p.m. Watch our ambassador raptors fly through the air, and learn about their amazing adaptations!
  • Peeps & Squeaks 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. Enjoy a puppet show, crafts, songs in this interactive program for young audiences. You’ll get to meet a live owl up close. “Owl” see you there!
