Golf Tournament raises over $2,000 for Foley Cancer Center

RUTLAND—On Oct. 14, golfers teed up at the 5th Annual Jean Cooper Memorial Golf Tournament and raised over $2,000 in support of patient care at the Foley Cancer Center at Rutland Regional Medical Center. The tournament was hosted in September at the Country Meadow Golf Club in Fort Ann, N.Y. and has raised over $6,000 since it began.

“We are proud to have organized this tournament in memory of our beloved Aunt Jean,” said Tammy Casey, one of a committee of family and friends who organized the tournament.

Now in its 25th year, the Foley Cancer Center remains steadfast in its commitment to patients, and as a result, has been continuously accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (CoC) since 1984. Established in 1896, Rutland Regional is the second largest hospital in Vermont.
