Go big or go home

The week brings the December Solstice and the symbolic return of light in the Northern Hemisphere. For hundreds of years and across many traditions, this was a time to celebrate with loved ones around a tree and a fire, enjoy fatty and decadent food and wish for a prosperous and joyful New Year.
In addition to the Solstice and the Sun’s arrival in Capricorn, Jupiter returns to Aries, where it was between mid-May until late October. During those months, the cosmos offered a sample of the inspired action that is possible when you act with conviction, confidence and self-belief. Then the lines of clear vision got all muddled up again and the opportunities that seemed within reach, slipped from grasp.
So if you’ve got to this point of 2022 and are feeling tired, uninspired and overwhelmed, then this week ushers in a burst of fresh energy that may help reinvigorate your hopes, dreams and wishes for 2023. You may have to overstretch yourself, but if there ever was a week to go big or go home, this is it. Set your sights on what’s possible, not what’s probable. Fight the good fight. He who dares wins.
