Froggie’s Fundraiser

Benefit for Dan Reilly (a.k.a “Frogger”) to be held Sunday at the Summit Lodge

Sunday, Sept. 21 — Killington — This Sunday, the Summit Lodge in Killington is hosting a community benefit for Dan Reilly, a local resident, who is fighting a rare disease.

“I’m 34 years old, and over those 34 years I’ve had 155 surgeries and counting,” said Dan Reilly.
“These surgeries are all caused by a very rare disease called papillomatosis. I was also given a tracheotomy at the age of 8, which I still have.”

Due to all the surgeries and complications relating to them, Reilly can no longer have his “stereo typical” surgeries. “Since the new surgeries are experimental they aren’t covered by insurance,” he said. “Thankfully, I’ve made a lot of friends here and Killington … this amazing community is throwing me a benefit.”
The event will be held at the Summit Lodge off Killington Road from 12-6 p.m. There will be a cash bar with drink specials, a 50/50 raffle, a live auction, food and live music from Joey Leone, Rick Redington, Aaron Audet, DJ Dave, and Jenny Porter.
