‘Food-raiser’ closes season at Pico

By Robin Alberti

KILLINGTON — On April 3-5 discounted single-day lift tickets were offered at Pico Mountain. With the donation of three non-perishable food items a lift ticket cost just $25 for all ages.

The closing weekend promotion supported BROC-Community Action in Southwest Vermont, a nonprofit organization which provided over 40,000 meals to low-income Vermonters last year.

“We’re thrilled to partner with BROC for the second time this season,” said Tracy Taylor, director of operations for Pico Mountain, “At Pico we strive to support our community in every way possible. This ‘food-raiser’ is a great way for our guests to get involved and give back while enjoying their final turns of the season.”
