Construction to resume on VT-Route 73 bridge in Rochester

ROCHESTER—Construction is scheduled to resume this week on Bridge #19 across the White River in Rochester. Crews will begin work to set forms for the permanent bridge deck.

Vermont state routes 100-N and 73 and the two-lane temporary bridge will remain open to two way traffic, but short-term traffic delays can be expected during construction.

VT-Route 73 (also known as the Brandon Mountain Road) crosses the Green Mountain ridge from Brandon, through Goshen and into Rochester, and VT-Route 100-N departs US-Route 4 in Killington and goes north through Rochester toward Waterbury.

Bridge #19 is scheduled to be completed in the summer and opened to traffic.
