Chuck Hughes, who serves as Killington Mountain School’s Events Manager and as the KSC/KMS Development Program Director, was also recognized by the USSA for his service and was given the West Family Award by Tom Kelly, Vice President of Communications for USSA. The West Family Award is given annually to recognize the outstanding, dedicated USSA-certified official for the year and/or over the years.

Hughes “…has been a coach, parent, FIS technical delegate, Eastern AO Chairman, Program Director at Killington Mountain School, Vermont Official’s Chair and a VARA Board Member,” Kelly said. “He has dedicated much time to the betterment of alpine skiing.
