Chandler Center for the Arts is pleased to announce Catapult Entertainment

Sept. 23-24 — RANDOLPH — This fall, Chandler Center for the Arts will host the Catapult Entertainment Dance Company for a two-week artist residency. The renowned dance troupe mesmerizes audiences by creating shadow puppetry with their entire bodies. The Catapult dancers will be practicing for their tour scheduled to perform across the US.  Their residency at Chandler will culminate in a one-of-a-kind interactive workshop for kids, and two events, one matinee for local families, school groups and homeschoolers, and an evening general audience performance.

Founded in 2008, Catapult Entertainment has received international acclaim for their live shadow dance performances in over 100 cities. Performing from “The Conan O’Brien Show” to “America’s Got Talent,” Catapult Entertainment prides itself on melding cutting edge technology with classic dance technique.

Catapult will be offering a workshop for students on Sept. 23 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Chandler Center for the Arts. After the workshop, Catapult will perform a special matinee at 1:30 p.m. Any school groups looking to attend the workshop and kids show can call the box office at 802-728-9878 or email Tickets@Chandler-Arts.org.

Catapult’s main performance this September at Chandler Center for the Arts is family-friendly and open to everyone. Tickets are $10 and go on sale on Sept. 6.
