Chandler Center for the Arts announces 2020 Holiday Artisans’ Market

Friday Nov. 27 – Tuesday, Dec. 24—RANDOLPH—The holiday market is back in time for all of your holiday shopping needs. For the first time ever, Chandler is offering an online market to help our community shop safely while still supporting our local creative economy by purchasing locally-made gifts for the holidays.

The online and in-person artisans’ market at the Chandler Center for the Arts will run from Friday Nov. 27 through Tuesday Dec. 24. The online market is accessible 24/7 at chandler-arts.org and the in-person market is open on Thursdays and Fridays from 12-6 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The in-person market will also be open during all Chandler events.

Visit the Chandler website (chandler-arts.org) to browse the beautifully curated online selection of artisan goods from the comfort and safety of your own home. A team of local volunteers will pack up the orders so that shoppers can choose between curbside pickup at the Chandler Center for the Arts in Randolph or directly to the customer’s home.

For those who prefer an in-person shopping experience, the 19th Chandler Holiday Market will have several new features to keep shoppers safe. Masks are required and hand sanitizer is available at the door. The market is limited to eight people at a time to allow shoppers adequate space to socially distance, but you can enjoy a warm beverage to fuel your shopping spree while you wait at the doors.  Once inside the market, shoppers will follow a one-way layout as they weave towards the register in the back of the hall to complete their purchases. A professional cleaning service will sanitize the market each day to help keep all our shoppers safe.

Both the in-person market and the on-line market feature one-of-a-kind gifts at a range of price points.  Stock for both the online and in-person markets will be updated regularly throughout the market, so make sure to check back if an item is sold out online.

The 2020 Artisans Market will have many favorite returning vendors this year, as well as some exciting new faces. Perennial favorites such as upcycled felted mittens, hand-thrown ceramics, and unique earrings will be back for another year. This year Chandler is also excited to carry colorful heishi bracelets from Liv with Livi, sumptuous lotions and salves by Hello Soul, and original watercolors by Glynis Kevan. Swing by the market or stop in online to take a gander at these beautiful offerings.
