Friday, Saturday & Sunday, Sept. 16-18—CASTLETON—Castleton University welcomes all students, parents, faculty, staff, alumni and community members to join as the university hosts its annual Homecoming and Family Weekend, Friday, Sept. 16 to Sunday, Sept. 18. Guests of all ages are invited to come enjoy a weekend full of family activities and events, including art exhibits, athletic events, photo booth, golf tournament, painting class, raffles and more.
Homecoming weekend will kickoff at 4 p.m. on Friday with family activities and art exhibits throughout the day.
On Saturday the Castleton Spartan football team will gear up to take on Salve Regina at 12 p.m. Prior to the game, guests are welcomed to participate in tailgating activities including the Family Fun Zone and other crafts for all ages in the lot adjacent to Spartan Stadium.
Other events throughout the day include the Castleton Scholar Celebration displaying student work from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and psychic entertainer Robert Channing performing at 8 p.m. in the Campus Center.
The weekend will conclude on Sunday with more sporting events, activities and art exhibits, a rubber duck race and golf tournament. Visit castleton.edu/homecoming.
