BOW THAYER

Thursday, April 28 at 7 p.m. — RUTLAND — The Paramount Theatre is proud to announce the first “802 show” in 2016; the third show in its new series, the 802 VT Music Showcase, featuring Vermont bands on the main stage. It is the belief of the theater that the state of Vermont is flush with talent and that Vermont artists have both the skills and the professionalism that warrant main stage attention. Previous shows have included Waylon Speed, Jatoba, The Chad Hollister Band, Duane Carleton, Ida Mae Specker & Faith Wood, and more. This show, on Thursday, April 28 will feature the Bow Thayer Triad, with opening act John Davis. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for the 7 p.m. show.

New features for this show include a backstage show. The Paramount will be putting on a special backstage show, drawing the curtain and bringing the audience on stage with the band. It’s general admission with traditional seating, cabaret-style seating, and room to hang back or dance. They’re calling it “Club 802.” A cash bar will be provided by Roots the Restaurant.

Live recordings of the Bow Thayer Triad recent show at Artistree (artistreevt.org) in South Pomfret will be available to those who pre-purchase tickets. The band will also be recording this show at the Paramount and making that recording available to attendees.

Tickets are $20 advanced; $25 at the door. For more info, visit paramountvt.org or call 802-775-0903.
