100-Day clubbers unite to reflect on fun season

By Nancy E.Finn

100-day club members stand for a photo opportunity following a barbecue at the Roaring Brook Umbrella Bars.

Killington celebrated Pass Holders Appreciation Day at the base of Superstar and the Umbrella Bars on Saturday, April 23, with a barbecue. After lunch many 100-Day club members gathered to rub shoulders and reflect on a fun season, thanks to Killington’s commitment to snowmaking and grooming by the mountain operations crews.

The following weekend, skiers and riders participated in the May Day Slalom, which was a huge success, according to resort personnelle. Over 130 participants joined in the fun, ripping up the soft corn on Sunday. Starting for the month of May, Killington is transitioning from daily lift-serve to a Friday-Sunday operational schedule.

As of Sunday, May 1, Killington had been open 178 days this season.
