Rutland Regional Medical Center’s Couch to 5K is back

RUTLAND — Looking to cross the finish line? Rutland Regional Medical Center’s free Couch to 5K training program will help! Whether participants are new to running or just getting back on the road after the winter, this program will help to prepare to run or walk a 5K in just nine weeks.

Rutland Regional’s team of coaches will provide tips, tools and motivation for participants and guide them through the running program so that the 5K—3.1 miles—can be successfully achieved.

Spring sessions will begin on April 11, running through June 10. Participants can choose morning sessions from 7-7:30 a.m. or 5:30-6 p.m. Sessions are held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and are 30 minutes in length. The Couch to 5K program is for those over age 18 and space is limited.

The training program will be held at Rutland Regional’s Loop, located at 160 Allen Street. For more information or to register, visit www.RRMC.org or call 802-772-2400.
