CASTLETON — The Castleton Alumni Association is holding its first spring gala on Saturday, April 16 at the Holiday Inn in Rutland beginning at 6 p.m. The gala will include a dinner buffet and dancing to the sounds of Enerjazz. Proceeds from the event will go to the Alumni Association’s activities and scholarship funds. The activities fund supports traditional events on campus like candle lighting and newer events like the senior class social. The senior class social gathers alumni from various fields of study to meet with graduating seniors to talk about the job market and to help seniors begin to network with others in their chosen field. The scholarship fund provides one or two students with scholarships annually to assist in the cost of their education.
