Job search help offered at library

RUTLAND—Beginning in early March, Community College of Vermont (CCV) Job Hunt Helper Darrell Hughes will be on hand at the Rutland Free Library for six hours a week to offer jobsearch services to library patrons and job seekers. Job Hunt Helpers can help with finding employment opportunities in your area, writing a resume and cover letter, applying for jobs online, assessing skills and interests, using the Internet to explore career options, and learning about education and training programs.

Job Hunt Helpers are provided through a partnership of Community College of Vermont and the Vermont Department of Libraries, with generous funding from the J. Warren and Lois McClure Foundation and the Institute of Museum and Library Services, a federal agency, through the Library Services and Technology Act.

The Rutland Free Library is located on Court St. in Rutland.
