Kenny Mehler Band to perform at Jackson Gore Summer Music Series

Friday, Aug. 22 at 6 p.m. — LUDLOW — Okemo Mountain Resort will host a free concert on Friday, Aug. 22 featuring the Kenny Mehler Band as part of the Jackson Gore Summer Music Series presented by Vermont Properties and Development, Inc. Concerts are scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday evenings in the courtyard at the Jackson Gore Inn.

Kenny Mehler is a hard-working singer-songwriter from Hartford, Conn. Though far from Nashville, this up-and-coming alternative country act is reinventing the standard for good music by blending the smooth yet catchy sounds of some of Country’s most successful acts. Well-crafted songs, rich harmonies and undeniable hooks make the Kenny Mehler Band a favorite up and down the East Coast.

On Friday nights throughout the summer season, the lawn in the courtyard at Okemo’s Jackson Gore Inn is transformed into an outdoor concert venue featuring popular local and regional bands. Admission is free and the grounds open at 5 p.m. Families are welcome and attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or picnic blankets. In case of rain, the concerts will move indoors.
