PEGTV to broadcast live Aldermanic Forum Feb. 18

Candidates will answer questions from moderator Tom Donahue in the live forum.

RUTLAND–PEGTV, Rutland County’s public access television station, will be broadcasting a live forum of candidates running for Rutland City Aldermen on Feb. 18, 2016. The forum will air on PEGTV channel 21 at 7 p.m.

Candidates will answer questions from moderator Tom Donahue and those that were submitted by the public prior to the event. If residents have a question to ask the candidates they can email it to ctice@pegtv.com or post it to PEGTV’s Facebook page.

“Keeping our community informed on local politics is part of PEGTV’s mission,” said Tom Leypoldt, executive director for the station. “We strive to keep voters up to date while also giving candidates a platform to express their views and ideas.”

The candidates that are currently scheduled to appear are George Gides, Gary Donahue, Jim Riley, Sharon Davis, Vanessa Robertson, Kam Johnston, Dave Allaire and Dan White.
