Some highlights of 2015 from Mount Saint Joseph Academy

Class of 2015 receives $5,986,652 in scholarship offers

Many 2015 MSJ graduates received very substantial scholarship offers to help pay for college, sometimes even full scholarships.

Two-year scholarship partnership with College of Saint Joseph

MSJ and College of Saint Joseph partnered to offer annually two-year full scholarships to up to five MSJ graduates. MSJ looks forward to building other partnerships with CSJ in the future.

Lenny Burke Court dedicated

MSJ started a Burke family scholarship and also refinished the basketball court and named it after Lenny Burke, ‘81. The Burke family’s story continues to provide inspiration to MSJ students.

Mountie women state champs in basketball

MSJ women won the Division IV state basketball championship with a 34-29 victory on March 1, 2015. Coach Elliott stated, “I could not be prouder of these eleven girls, not just because of their athletic accomplishments, but also because of their dedication, passion, and commitment to MSJ and the MSJ community.”

MSJ cheerleaders win state championship

The MSJ cheer program, coached by Tracy Tedesco, won the Division II State Championship. As a result of winning State’s, they also participated in the New England championship. A Mini Mounties cheer program has been started for grade school students.

Sally Hogan ‘15 receives Vermont MVP award

Sally Hogan ‘15 was named Vermont’s most valuable player in the Twin State girls’ basketball game, July 18. She is currently attending Elmira on a full tuition merit scholarship.
