10,000 CDs stollen from residence

GOSHEN — The Vermont State Police received a call from Richard Toman, 61, who stated approximately 10,000 CDs were taken from his residence at 5 Cemetery Hill Road in Goshen, Vt.

State Troopers from the New Haven Barracks made contact with Toman who advised that four different suitcases containing the CDs were taken from his garage sometime between Nov. 18 and Nov. 20. Toman said the suitcases had “Map Tech” embroidered in red on them and the CDs were topographical maps scheduled to be donated to a search and rescue team in Massachusetts. Toman also advised the CDs were worth approximately $15,000.

Anyone with information regarding the theft of these CDs, please contact Trooper Bloom at the New Haven State Police barracks (802)388-4919.
