KMS racers kick of the season in Heavenly

Killington Mountain School Alpine athletes competed in two days of slalom races out at Heavenly, on the tail-end of a two-week camp in Mammoth. In the boys’ race on Sunday, Brad Underhill was the first U16 and eighth overall, Bo Underhill was the fourth U16 and 17th overall, PJ Bovaconti was the ninth U16 and 28th overall, and Jake Jenkins was the third U19 and 11th overall.

Izzy Jenne won the “Hard Charger” award, moving up from 83rd to 24th on day one and from 64th to 15th on day two in an extremely competitive field! Izzy was the fourth U16 on both Saturday and Sunday, and Jenna Jenkins was sixth for both races, with Bella Amico finishing as the tenth U16 on day one, and the ninth on day two.

Way to kick off the season!
