RUTLAND — On Dec. 7, the Community Health Centers of the Rutland Region (CHCRR) announced that it is now operating a new practice location. Previously, Dr. Mark Logan made the decision to close his primary care office, Green Mountain Primary Care, located in the Allen Pond professional condominium complex at 71 Allen Street, in Rutland, VT. CHCRR and Dr. Logan are mutually committed to supporting access to primary care and have worked together to facilitate the continued and uninterrupted operation of a primary care practice at the Allen Pond location that will be operated by CHCRR. The new practice site has been open under CHCRR since Dec. 1.
While the location will remain the same in Suite 403, the name of the practice has changed to Allen Pond Family Health Center. CHCRR has providers in place to provide a full range of primary care. Current patients will be able and are encouraged to continue receiving their primary care at this location and new patients of all ages are welcome. CHCRR is recruiting additional physicians to staff the Allen Pond practice with the goal of having three permanent medical care providers available at this location.
The Allen Pond location is the eighth practice location operated by CHCRR in addition to its primary care locations in West Pawlet, Shoreham, Brandon, Castleton and multiple locations in Rutland.
