Realtor.com names Killington and Okemo among America’s most affordable ski towns

“[Most of us] can’t afford a $50 million estate in Aspen, Colo. But luckily, there are plenty of other places where you can get in lots of slope time and immerse yourself in the laid-back mountain lifestyle,” wrote Yuqing Pan, in a story titled “America’s Most Affordable—and Least Affordable—Ski Towns” for realtor.com.

Using information from onthesnow.com and realtor.com, data analysts examined more than 300 ski resorts and the housing markets in their nearest towns, then filtered out resorts with fewer than 500 acres and ranked each town by its median list price.

According to that analysis, here are the resorts that give you the most bang for your buck — and the least.
