KILLINGTON — Killington snowmakers are also “on the march,” according to Killington’s conditions report Monday, Nov. 23. The goal of the week: top-to-bottom skiing and riding.
“Much colder temperatures will allow for downward expansion over the next couple of nights,” the resort reported of its snowmaking plans. “Our trail count stands at 7 trails, 6 of which will be groomed for Monday morning.”
The parks crew also added a couple of new features in the Reason Park over the weekend, to make a total of eight features available as of Monday.
Although Killington initially opened Oct. 18, it was forced to close due to unseasonably warm weather. It reopened for daily skiing and riding Nov. 15.
