Wednesday, Dec. 2 at 4:30 p.m. — WOODSTOCK — We’ve all noticed that some meetings leave you feelings energized while others are draining. Conducting great meetings may require a focus on something that has nothing to do with the meeting’s explicit purpose. “Elevating the social field” is what a new generation of organizational theorists are calling this something. Come experience what this means in a hands-on workshop for those who lead or attend meetings of any kind on Wednesday, Dec. 2 at 4:30 p.m. at Norman Williams Public Library in Woodstock.
Simon Dennis serves as a member of the Hartford Selectboard and as the founding director of the Center for Transformational Practice, a local nonprofit that works to advance effective social action through supporting the inner transformation of individuals and groups. Dennis will lead the discussion.
