Saturday, Oct. 24 at 9:390 a.m. — RUTLAND — The Vermont Reiki Association is holding its annual conference and meeting at the Holiday Inn in Rutland from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24, entitled Celebrating the Many Faces of Reiki. Keynote speaker and facilitator Robert Fueston is renowned for his extensive research into Reiki traditions, both in Japan and in the United States. He is the founder of the Reiki Preservation Society.
Reiki is a hands-on Japanese spiritual and health promotion modality, widely practiced in Vermont and the United States. The Vermont Reiki Association, the only statewide Reiki Association in the U.S., has 120 members, and sponsors volunteer events across Vermont, from the Stowe Weekend of Hope to the Strolling of the Heifers in Brattleboro and Camp Knock Knock in North Hero.
The mission of the VRA is to infuse the joy and abundance that Reiki brings into the lives of Vermonters by providing professional support to Reiki providers, promoting Reiki throughout Vermont, and nourishing the growth and connectedness of the Reiki community.
