LISA LAMPANELLI
Thursday, Oct. 15 at 8 p.m. — RUTLAND — Comedy’s lovable “Queen of Mean,” Lisa Lampanelli will bring her “Leaner, Meaner” tour to Rutland’s Paramount Theatre on Thursday, Oct. 15 at 8 p.m.
Never shying away from an insult or taboo subject, the seasoned comedian is well known for her fearless style of comedy. Brash, bold, and never afraid to go blue, Lampanelli offers a raucous and raunchy performance, with a sprinkle of “spiritual gangsta.” Sporting a more than 100-pound weight loss and funky new haircut, she takes the stage with more low blows and self-deprecating humor than ever before.
Lampanelli most recently shot her sixth stand up special “Back to the Drawing Board,” which premiered earlier this year on EPIX and is currently available on CD/digital album.
Often called the “Queen of Mean,” Lampanelli has been a regular on the Comedy Central Roast series making a name for herself taking jabs at Donald Trump (2011), Larry the Cable Guy (2009), and Pam Anderson (2005). She has also appeared in the documentary “The Aristocrats” (2005), and was a contestant/performer on “Celebrity Apprentice” in 2012. She is currently working on her one woman show, “Fat Girls, Interrupted.”
