As part of their Meet the Candidates series, the Vermont Republican Party will welcome Governor John Kasich (R-Ohio) to the state on Oct. 9, 2015. Governor Kasich will be the guest speaker at the party’s 2015 fall harvest dinner.
“We are very pleased to have Governor Kasich visit and speak to Vermonters,” said Vermont Republican Chair David Sunderland. “His performance in the debates has sparked interest and enthusiasm among Republicans, independents and even Democrats concerned about the economic future of our nation. As someone who has fought for balanced budgets, job growth and affordability, we have no doubt his message will be warmly received by Vermonters.”
The event will take place Oct. 9 at 6 p.m. at the The Hilton on Battery Street in Burlington. The cost is $100 per person, $150 per couple, with sponsorship opportunities available.
