Okemo Valley Golf Club Ladies’ Club Championships announced

LUDLOW – On Sept. 12 and 13, Okemo Valley Golf Club hosted its annual Ladies’ Club Championship. The format was individual stroke play on 36 holes. There was a championship division and a senior division. Winning the championship, and thus becoming Okemo’s Ladies champion, was Ruthie Schamback. She fired a two-day total of 186. Finishing second with a two-day total of 188 was defending champion Harriet Parot. Low net went to Rosemary Burns with a 149 and runner-up net was Marion Pick with a 151. Winning the senior division and becoming Okemo’s Senior Ladies champion was Liz Spaulding as she shot a two-day total of 194. Runner-up was Peg Margiotta with a 199. Low net was Donna Tedford with a 141, and runner-up net was Leeann Haskell with a 156.
