KILLINGTON — Live at the Fillmore returned to Killington Resort this past Saturday afternoon, Aug. 29, performing for a crowd gathered on the lawn. The free show at Killington Resort’s Snowshed Base Area is part of the Town of Killington’s Cooler in the Mountains summer concert series.
The band is known for offering audiences an exact reproduction of the live performances of the Allman Brothers as they sounded from 1969 to 1971. Live at the Fillmore continues rocking crowds across the country, keeping this authentic sound alive despite the Allman Brothers giving their final performances at the Beacon Theatre last October.
This coming Saturday, Sept. 5 at 3:30 p.m. don’t miss the final Cooler in the Mountains concert of the summer: the Latin-salsa rock collective Santa Mamba. See page 42 for details about this show.
