Louis B. Meyers, MD joins RRMC

Louis B. Meyers, M.D.

RUTLAND — Rutland Regional Medical Center welcomes a new physician, Louis B. Meyers, M.D. to Rutland Regional Medical Center. Dr. Meyers is a nocturnist in the hospital medicine program and works the overnight shift managing clinical problems of acutely ill hospitalized patients. Dr. Meyers is board certified in internal medicine.

Dr. Meyers, originally from Washington, D.C., attended Trinity College in Hartford, Conn., and received his Masters in Social Work from Catholic University in Washington, D.C. and his medical degree from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Dr. Meyers completed his residency in Internal Medicine at George Washington University.

Prior to moving to Vermont, Dr. Meyers was in private practice in Virginia.

“Often emergency situations happen at night and I am dedicated to ensuring that the patient’s experience from diagnosis to treatment is one of comfort and caring,” said Dr. Meyers.

Dr. Meyers is an avid reader and enjoys kayaking and snowshoeing. Dr. Meyers lives in South Burlington.
