Thursday, July 9 at 7 p.m. — FAIR HAVEN — The Fair Haven Park is a very popular place to be on Thursday evenings. The Fair Haven Concerts in the Park features not only an evening of outstanding entertainment each week, but one of the loveliest venues in Vermont. The concerts start at 7 p.m. but concert-goers are encouraged to come early.
On Thursday, July 9, the series will welcome James Mee and the Freeze, a very popular Killington mountain band and mainstay. James Mee and The Freeze consists of guitars, bass, sax/flute, drums and vocals is currently composed of five friendly and seasoned musicians including Rob “Perch” Henrichon, “Big” Mike Sullivan, Steve “Mac” Mclauchlan, Terrance “Terry” Jaye and Jimmy “Arctic” Mee. They’ve got lots of experience and a large selection of material. Selections range from Texas swing to Motown, from rock and roll to rhythm and blues, and are all recognizable hits from a variety of eras, styles, and genres.
The concert goes on rain or shine. The rain location is the Baptist Church at the south end of the park.
