Crash at Rte 7-103 intersection sends four locals to hospital

WALLINGFORD—On June 13 at about 2 p.m. Cedric Rogers, 58, of Wallingford, was traveling north on Route 7, approaching the intersection of Route 103.  Terri Harrington, 48, of East Wallingford, was driving on Route 103 approaching the intersection. Harrington collided with Rogers in the intersection and came to rest in the intersection. Investigation revealed that Rogers had run a red light. The intersection of Route 7 and Route 103 was closed briefly while Vermont State Police investigated the crash. VSP was assisted by the Clarendon Fire Department and Regional Ambulance Service. Police reported that all occupants were wearing their seat belts.

However, both drivers and two passengers in Harrington’s vehicle (Tracy Harrington, 49, of Danby and a 2-year-old child from Clarendon) were transported to Rutland Regional Medical Center with minor head and neck injuries.

Terri Harrington’s 2012 Mazda 3 received front end damage; Cedric Rogers’ 2004 Hyundai Sonata received passenger side damage.
