Pawlett Historical Society remembers Susanne Rappaport

Susanne Rappaport, pictured with a trusted companion. A reception in her memory will be held May 3 in Pawlet.

Sunday, May 3 at 2 p.m. — PAWLET — The Pawlett Historical Society will host a reception in Susanne Rappaport’s memory at the Pawlet Town Hall, 122 School Street, Pawlet, from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, May 3. All those who knew Susanne, and/or her contributions to the history of Pawlet and surroundings, are invited to attend. 

A painting by Dick Leach of Pawlet in the late 19th century will be presented to the Pawlett Historical Society by Terry and Helen Tyler of Dorset in memory of Susanne Rappaport. Those who would like to speak about Susanne will be invited to do so. Refreshments will be provided. For more info, call 802-645-9529.
