The Killington Turkey Trot is an annual 5K race held on Thanksgiving morning in Killington. Funds raised are utilized by local charitable organizations.

A new beneficiary is named each year, and all net proceeds go directly to the organization.

The race was started in 2011 by Kasie and Jamie Munson following Tropical Storm Irene which left many locals in the area stranded. It has grown into an entire family affair, and organizers look forward to welcoming the participants into our family and hopefully kicking off a new Thanksgiving Day family tradition!

Dress for the weather and wear good treads, organizers suggest. It’s a lot more fun when you’re prepared for the elements  turkey hats on top!
