Saturday, April 25 at 10 a.m. — RUTLAND — On Saturday, April 25 the Vermont Achievement Center will host a community wide celebration of children and families in honor of Autism Awareness Month, Month of the Young Child, volunteers and the grand re-opening of the Mitchell Therapy Pool. Join them from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. for a barbecue, pool party, VINS “Raptor on a Glove” demonstration, children’s activities, indoor bouncy house and music with Mr. Leslie. There will be a collaboration of community programs available to share information and support for families. Workshops will include information about sensory diets, daily living skills and sensory equipment demonstrations.
