Members and friends of the Chittenden Dammers, a local snowmobile club, held a volunteer day at the Rutland County Humane Society in Pittsford on May 14. As part of its overall mission, the club commits to support of local organizations and charities in the community.
The project included clearing brush, installing trail signs, doing painting projects, hanging gutters and downspouts and upgrading landscaping including edging, seeding, planting shrubs and installing fabric and gravel.
Chittenden Dammers would like to thank all individuals and businesses that donated of labor and supplies.
The completed project honors the animals, hardworking RCHS staff and the families that adopt by upgrading the exterior and should be enjoyed for years to come.
