Touch-A-Truck event held at the Sherburne Library

Saturday, May 21 at 10 a.m. — KILLINGTON — The Sherburne Memorial Library will hold an event for our smallest patrons, toddlers through children aged 5. We will hold a short story time with books about trucks and big equipment and then go out into the parking lot to visit hands-on with some very cool equipment. Front loaders, dump trucks, excavators, a military vehicle, police car, fire truck, will be ready for participants.

Our special guests for the event will be the Vermont Army National Guard who will land a helicopter in the field behind the library in honor of Armed Forces Day. So, you may want to arrive a little early to see the landing.

Though the event is geared to our smallest patrons, everyone is welcome to attend. Snacks will be available and we hope your family will join us for all the fun. For questions, please contact the staff at Sherburne Library by calling 802-422-9765 or by emailing sherburnememorial@gmail.com.
