Mount St. Joseph Academy of Rutland has named Carly Ward as the new director of alumni relations and development.

“Being a familiar face in Rutland County, I want to be an asset to the community, alumni, family, friends and future Mounties of MSJ,” Ward said.

Ward completed internships at both The Lilac Inn in Brandon and Mountain Top Resort in Chittenden.  The Mountain Top internship led to her first career job, and from 2018 until recently she was the wedding and events coordinator at the resort. While in her recent position, Carly took pride in her attention to detail and cared for the impact her team and event staff created for the resort’s clients and their families on their special day.  In 2021, she was voted as the Rutland Herald’s best of the best wedding planner.

“I enjoy seeing our community gather in varied ways such as high school reunions, 5K races, plays, concerts, and fun rivalry sporting events,” Ward said.  “I’m excited to look forward to interacting with the students, families, and alumni of the MSJ Community.”

Ward is excited to learn and share MSJ stories with the community.  She invites prospective students, current students, alumni, and parents to contact her at MSJ to share their stories. She can be reached at 802-775-0151.
