A fancy guppy proudly displays its colorful fins. As with many animal and fish species, male guppies are more glorious in their coloring and display.
Tuesday, April 7 at 7 p.m. — PITTSFORD — Join the Otter Valley Aquarium Society on Tuesday, April 7 at 7 p.m. as they welcome guest speaker Bill Gill to present a lecture on Keeping and Breeding Fancy Guppies. This lecture will be held at the Maclure Library on Route 7 in Pittsford.
Mr. Gill is a founder and Executive Director of the International Guppy Education and Exhibition Society (IGEES), the leading international organization devoted to promoting interest and knowledge in guppies. He is also founder and President of the Boston Guppy Club, former President and board member-at-large of the Boston Aquarium Society and a board member of the Northeast Council of Aquarium Societies.
If you think of the guppy as “just another little fish” the photos and breeding genetics in this lecture will change your thinking!
