Eat pizza and listen to live tunes in the meadow

Wednesdays, 5 p.m. — MIDDLETOWN SPRINGS — Roll onto Sundog Lane in Middletown Springs on Wednesdays, and one is greeted by pizza, wildflower arrangements, and live music, emerging like an oasis from the greenery.

By Ethan Weinstein
Tables are decorated with wildflowers.

Naga Bakehouse’s “Pizza in the Meadow” runs every Wednesday. Known for its “Vermatzah,” hand-made, artisan matzah, Naga Bakehouse serves a variety of creative pizzas featuring local ingredients, from classic margherita to zucchini buckwheat pies to last week’s special, a peach and cheddar pizza with brown sugar. The crew also makes stuffed breads, sweet and savory knots, and pasta.

Folk and roots music provides the soundtrack for an evening in the lush meadow. Reserve a table to enjoy a front row seat!

Begun as “an effort to be here for our community,” Pizza in the Meadow provides a free of charge option to support those who may not be able to afford food.

Orders must be placed in advance, by Tuesdays at noon. For more information, visit @nagabakehouse on instagram or call 802-235-1282.
